Guess 1: 3 vases of red roses and 1 vase of pink tulips
Find the number of vases: 3 + 1 = 4
Find the total number of flowers: (9 × 3) + (8 × 1) = 27 + 8 = 35

Find the number of vases: 1 + 3 = 4
